So! You are ready to learn Spanish? Good for you because Spanish is a widely-used
colorful language! I was born in the USA, but I have lived most of my nearly 50 years in Costa Rica. I always admire people that enjoy visiting other countries where a different language is spoken. You see, I was 12 when we moved to Costa Rica with my family. Learning the language was no big deal for me. I remember just repeating whatever my classmates and friends said whether it was correct or not. I very quickly picked it up. But that wouldn’t be the case at this point in life! I would be afraid that people would laugh at me or that I would make som embarrassing mistake. I have noticed that this is pretty normal when it comes to learning a new language. On the other hand, there are always people who are outgoing and don’t seem intimidated by the new and the unknown. So wherever you are in this learning journey, I hope this
